As the introduction to the course suggests, one section of the course will require groups of three to four students to investigate American Cities in detail.  I'm hoping that people will start to think about their choices early on, even before the start of the semester.  To that end, I've prepared two aids. First, here is a list of the cities represented in our textbooks.  (I haven't included Jacobs, though she does talk extensively about Philadelphia, New York, and Boston.)  The second is a brief survey which I'd like to have you fill out.

You aren't restricted to cities on this list.  Consider it simply a way to get started.
