Length: c: 3-4 pp.  Say what you have to say and quit.

"Cities and Diversity"

  • Based on your reading of Suarez, and Isenberg, as well as other ideas you may have picked out from other readings in this class or other classes, what kind of relationship do you see between American racial attitudes and the current state of American Cities.  (Your readings in Suarez constitute Chapters 1 & 7, plus two of your choice).

Bonus!
  • Is it possible to create better cities and use them as tools to improve  relationships among America’s diverse peoples?  If so, how?

I'm going lazy on you and placing both of these on a single web page.  I've indicated in class that I've been re-shaping the cities project, primarily because I let the organizing of city groups slide.  My bad, as the saying goes.

I do want to find a way to share your project investigations with each other,  I intend to do this by converting your submissions into portable document files (.pdf), which I can upload and show via the website.  I am also going to prepare an area for comments on blackboard so you can record your appreciation for what you've gained from the project of your peers.
Total length: c. 3-4 pp. Typed, doubled spaced.  Lots of illustrations
encouraged.
